OM, LOGOS And The WORD

In Christianity we call the primal vibration, from which everything comes from, the word. In Hinduism the equivalent is the sound word or mantra OM. OM and the word express the universal principle, a cosmic sound or vibration, which is the original source for everything that exists.

This idea is touched upon by Pythagoras in his famous idea about the “Music of the Spheres”. In this idea physical sound is but a mere reflection of the cosmic sound or LOGOS (as it is called in Greek).

About Christianity And The Word

The Christian tradition speaks of the power of the word. God speaks words and creates universes. “God said: Let there be light. And light came” (book of Moses). God utters words and the universe is created.

This is symbolically a form of sound emanation from a higher reality, which we in our physical reality call a word. The symbolism is clear, and is the same in different spiritual and religious traditions; reality is created by sound or vibration.

The Atom And OM

Thought the Upanishads from ancient India and modern physics are completely different in terminology and in the organization of knowledge there are some striking similarities. Both support the idea that OM is the original cosmic vibration or that the universe has its seat in vibration.

All matter is in fact in a state of vibration as a closer inspection of the atom reveals. These vibrations can be poetically compared with music as physicist Dr. Donald Hatch states: “The universe is not made of matter but music”.

Sound And Matter

We know that the solidity of matter is an illusion and that all matter consists of atoms, separated in enormous distances compared to their size. And that the atoms themselves are not at all solid, but consist of energy in movement.

In the vision of Donald Andrews the atoms emit a main tone. Atoms join in clusters of atoms to form molecules or “cosmic chords” as he calls them. All matter can be seen as complex chords. The universe is in fact a giant symphony of vibration.

OM And Everyday Life

The creation myths might not only be the story of how the world once was created, but could also be a symbolic description about the process of creation that is ongoing, and which each one of us is a part of. It is the creation and maintenance of each and every little atom and the realities we are creating with our minds and emotions. And it is going on right now, not in the eternal remote past! If we manage to be in accordance with life, we will be harmonious and happy.

Matter is created by cosmic sound, Matter is cosmic sound. Matter is OM, crystallized and made physical. The universe, the earth and we only exist because the Word is continuously brought forth. Remove the Word, and only the pure empty space ” ananda (the creative void as described by the ancient yogis of India) – will be left. This is the original state of the universe before the creation.

OM As A Spiritual Practice

For a yogi OM is just as real as the air he breaths. Christian mystics have felt the power of the Word inside and around them and known that the whole creation is neither complete nor ended, but is an ongoing process.

Seen in this way we are all co-creators of the manifestation in each and every minute, by sending out the Word in the form of thoughts, wishes, emotions and speech. We make our own symphony and we are responsible to make this symphony harmonize with the cosmic symphony!

So be ever mindful of what you send out because the universe hears your song!

How Even A Beginner Can Develop Telepathy

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Essentially, telepathy is the process of transferring your feelings, emotions, and even thoughts to another person using nothing apart from mind power.

The ability to communicate telepathically is something all humans possess to some degree, but unfortunately, they have lost the means by which to control it on a conscious level. We have all experienced telepathic activity subconsciously on occasions but just imagine being able to control that ability, and being able to use it to communicate with others.

Of course, one can almost understand why there is still so much skepticism concerning the use of mine power. However, one should also take the following into consideration: have you ever bumped into someone who is depressed and down in the dumps, while you on the other hand were in the greatest mood ever? If you have, then you will know it certainly didn’t take long before that person’s mood started rubbing off on you.

Essentially, it’s not the words which that person spoke which affected your mood, but rather the transference of their feelings and emotions to your own subconscious mind, and of course this is without a doubt, a form of telepathic communication.

In recent scientific studies, it’s been determined that if someone accesses their subconscious mind and then learns to direct their thoughts and feelings towards another specific individual, dormant telepathic abilities can be brought back to life.

As with all other means of communication, it is our parents and our elders which teach us. In fact, so strong is the influence of the method in which we’re taught that we even learn to mimic the accent of our parents. Essentially, this is simply because we all share a common ability to learn communication skills, but unfortunately we only learn to communicate in the ways which we are taught.

How different would things be had our parents decided to teach us about that “other” certain ability? How would things be today if our parents taught us how to communicate with our minds? Surely, just because our parents never taught us, doesn’t necessarily mean that we can never learn to do it.

Here are some things you can try in order to awaken your telepathic ability:

Developing Your Mental Muscle

As children learning to communicate, we had to learn how to control the movement of our mouth, and we had to learn how to strengthen our voice boxes. In much the same way, one needs to learn how to strengthen and develop your telepathic muscles.

Interestingly enough, that part of your brain which controls telepathic communication, functions at its best on a subconscious level which is similar to a trancelike state. In essence, this trancelike state is simply a level deep relaxation which all humans can achieve with relative ease.

Providing you learn how to relax your mind sufficiently, this trancelike state can be reached, and when you do, you would have begun to train your mind so that it can be controlled at will.

The Importance of Being Able To Focus

This is perhaps one of the most difficult challenges of all because it is certainly not easy to remain focused during a time when you’re experiencing a trancelike state of mind. The next time you have a practice session, you need to practice focusing on someone you’d like to make contact with.

You need to picture this person in your mind together with happy thoughts. You then need to imagine this person actually receiving all those thoughts and feelings you’re trying to transfer across. The length of time that you need to remain focused will depend on how long you feel it takes to make a connection.

After a few moments, one should stop focusing abruptly in order to break any contact. When this happens, the other person will realize that the contact has been broken and as a result, they will in turn attempt to make contact with you.

The reason why one should practice focusing on your own is so that when you start practicing with a partner, you will have already conditioned your mind to be receptive and as such, it will be easier to receive images, feelings, thoughts, and impressions.

When You Practice With a Partner

Once you have a partner, the two of you need to decide which one will be the sender, and which one will be receiving. Ideally, the sender should only attempt to project images of simple things, preferably of things which are brightly colored and easy to recognize.

The person who is the receiver should ensure they have a notebook and a pen nearby so that they can keep a record of all thoughts and impressions which they receive.

When you reach the end of your training session, the two of you should go ahead and compare notes in order to establish how many impressions were correct. You can be a rest assured that the more times you practice, the better you will get.

The Incredible Power Of The Subconscious Mind

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Subconscious mind is an essential part of all of us. There are many who even blame their unscrupulous doings on their subconscious minds. However, there are only a few who truly understand the subconscious mind and its amazing powers and abilities. This amazingly potent instrument can become our biggest ally or the most dangerous adversary. Interestingly, your life and your circumstances are all governed by your subconscious mind. Many people still don’t understand the true meaning of the subconscious mind and its significance in our lives.

We all admit to the existence of the subconscious mind despite the constant endeavors of some professionals. Our thoughts and actions are directed by this control board. When faced with some tough challenges, it becomes our guiding voice. Every individual’s subconscious mind is as unique as a finger print. Even twins have an inner voice which is uniquely their own.

We all know the voice of our inner mind. There may have been times when you were trying to risk everything for a whim and it helped you to realize the truth. There may have been times it may have prompted you to take a decision which may have proved beneficial in the long run. However, there are times when the inner voice tells you that you are not good enough, beautiful enough or even don’t have a good enough figure. Actually subconscious is nothing but you deepest beliefs and thoughts which reside deep inside.

The kind of life you are leading is a direct result of your subconscious feelings and attitude. This means that you can actually make your life beautiful by reprogramming your subconscious mind. When you reprogram your inner most feelings you actually start attracting the life you want. So the best part about this process is that the power to change your subconscious thoughts and attitude and eventually your life is completely in your hands.

You can change your deepest thoughts by affirmations. These are nothing but positive beliefs that are constantly repeated by you through out the day. These are better than the more expensive sublimal messaging scripts. All you need is to know is the thing you want to change about yourself, choose the appropriate affirmations and repeat them till they become a reality.

Let’s take weight loss as an example. Start believing and telling your self with total conviction that you are your idea weight. If you want write it down on a piece of paper, stick it on your mirror, record it and make a ring tone and even use the affirmation as a screen saver. Repeat this affirmation till the time your subconscious starts taking it as a gospel truth or in other words it becomes your deepest belief.

With this example, you will start to notice that you will become your ideal weight. If you use affirmations to increase money, you will in fact have more money. You can apply this to anything in your life. It is possible. Perhaps you don’t believe me.

Here is an example of how your mind impacts your life, without you even realizing it on any given day. Let’s say that you wake up late one day. You say or think, ‘It’s going to be one of those days.’ You take a shower and find you are out of soap; you get dressed and spill coffee down your shirt on the way to the office. Again, you think ‘Yep, it is definitely going to be one of those days.’ You get to work and you are faced with one obstacle after another again, you are thinking that this is one of those days and you even go as far as to think that it can’t get any worse and it does.

Skeptics may call it a coincidence but truly speaking coincidences are nothing but misnomers. Every thing that happens to us is attracted to us by out thoughts and subconscious mind which just manifests things which we think about.

Recently movies and books on this subject like the ‘The Secret’ have given it a more scientific backing and made people aware of their subconscious thinking and how it’s shaping their lives up. It actually creates the reality we are living in and that is all in conference with our inner most beliefs.

This has also been confirmed by quantum physics and experiments have proved that even the subatomic particles vibration is connected with the mind set of the observer. Ancient religions have been talking about this for centuries.

Hence if our subconscious mind creates our reality then we can change this reality with practice. People who have manifested their dreams of wealth through history have only been able to achieve it through a rock solid belief and positive visualization.

Discover Carpal Tunnel syndrome Exercises Based on The Principles of Yoga

Monday, August 17th, 2009

Yoga, an effective carpal tunnel exercise, is actually an ancient form of meditation that has its roots in India. Yoga in India is a reference to a mental and physical meditation method. It also refers to one of six orthodox schools of Hindu philosophy. To understand the practice it is helpful to understand the meaning of the word. In verb form, it means to control, join, yoke and unite, while the noun form means control, conjunction, means and union. As you can see the definition of the word, Yoga is complex. There are five major branches of yoga, Raja, Karma, Bhakti, Hatha and Jnana. There are other branches, but these are the main schools of thought. Following that idea, that yoga is not simply exercise but a thought process it appears often in classical Indian literary works.

When you leave India, you will find the word yoga is used to mean the exercises derived from traditional Hindu philosophy. They include putting the body into a particular stance and holding it for a set amount of time, these practices are known as Asana. The funny thing is Asana mean to sit, and sitting in the purest since of the word is the least amount of activity you will do in yoga. Professional yoga practitioners or Yogis use these positions as a way to meditate. A very advanced practitioner can move their body into all matter of forms, in a way they look like contortionists, which sounds like a painful carpal tunnel exercise.

The most advanced yogis can perform amazing feats of flexibility, thus leading to the association of carpal tunnel exercises using yoga to what looks like painful physical contortions. Yoga is not about twisting your body into incomprehensible shapes. Far from it, outside of Hindu philosophy, yoga as an exercise is mostly about putting your body in poses designed to do many wonderful things for the body. Muscle and tendon strength are improved with the tensing and stretching involved in these poses. Stamina is improved by continual exercises, and weight loss and dieting also benefit from this.

You have heard the saying an oldie but goodie? That in a nutshell is what yoga is, an ancient practice that has contemporary benefits. Sitting in one place for an extended period of time at work is a relatively new concept and with it have come ailments not known before. People are suffering from lower back pain and muscle weakness from these types of careers. Those who also type for hours on end have come across a serious condition known as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This is a condition caused when the carpal tunnel between the wrist and the hand becomes inflamed and painful. Stretching and relaxing with yoga exercises helps to ease the pain and inflammation associated with carpal tunnel syndrome.

The ancient Hindus may or may not have seen the coming of carpal tunnel syndrome but they did leave a highly effective way of treating it. Yoga may be old but isn’t it a wonder that it can still be used to treat medical problems of today?

It Is Easy To Use Your Clairvoyance Powers!

Monday, August 17th, 2009

Have you ever thought about what being a clairvoyant means, and what it could mean to you? Have you thought about the possibility that you can develop your own clairvoyant abilities, even if you don’t think you have them now? In fact you can, likely, even if you don’t have these abilities just yet. That’s because ‘clairvoyance’ is actually a skill that can be developed, not just a talent you are born with. It’s a little bit like driving; you don’t know how to drive when you’re born, but almost everyone can learn how to. It’s the same with clairvoyance. You just need a plan to help you develop these skills, similar to the way you learn the skills you will need to drive a car.

First, you’ll need to understand what clairvoyance is. How does it work? It’s often been called a ‘psychic ability,’ but it’s not really; in fact, it’s simpler. Really, clairvoyance is intuition, knowledge about things you ‘shouldn’t’ know but do. These things are not visible to your five senses, and sometimes have not happened yet. If you develop your skills in clairvoyance, you can use them so that you can understand things you can’t see, hear, touch, taste, smell, or things that haven’t happened yet.

To understand clairvoyant skills, you first need to understand that if you develop clairvoyant skills for yourself, you’ll become much more peaceful and happy as a person. Done correctly, it’s an important step you can take towards making sure you develop clairvoyant is a positive tool, and that you do so easily.

When you become clairvoyant, you are going to be more sensitive to the energies that are all around you, so something that you want to make sure of is that you are able to avoid the people, the places, and the things that are negative, as you will then absorb this negative energy, and it will have a negative impact on you, and on your clairvoyance, as well as on your life. Sometimes, there are going to be things that are unavoidable, but if you can do something positive to help yourself get rid of the energies, you’ll end up better off in the end.

There are several things you can do that will help you develop clairvoyant skills. Take a look at the possessions you have and get rid of any that have negative connotations or ‘vibes’ for you. That means anything; if you’re hanging on to old pictures, old possessions, old memories that bring back not happy memories, but sad, negative, angry times, get rid of them. Surrounding yourself with this type of ‘negative’ touchstone material is only detrimental. Getting rid of these things will help you cleanse yourself of negativity.

Next, you are going to want to begin a meditation routine. Find a place that you can safely and securely mediate for at least 30 minutes each day, and then make sure that you do it. It should be your quiet time, and you shouldn’t let anything interfere with it. Your general life can get in the way of your clairvoyance, so be sure that you are able to find some time to meditate.

When you meditate regularly, and when you’ve gotten rid of all the negativity in your life (whether they be objects, people, feelings, etc.), you’re going to be more in touch with your feelings and you’ll be able to trust them more as you go. A chakra balance meditation is also going to be able to help you feel more clear and balanced, since balanced energy chakra centers are very important to becoming a clairvoyant. Chakra meditations can be done with different chakra sound frequencies, which you can find online. As you listen to these frequencies, your chakras balance themselves.

An alternative to this is to visualize the different colors of the chakras and their positions in the body. Here are the chakra positions and associated colors:-

Red is near the base of the spine, orange is just below your navel, yellow is just above your navel, green is at the center of your chest, blue is in your throat area, indigo is on your forehead, and purple is at the top of your head.

Next, learn to trust your feelings (meditation will help you get in touch with and trust your feelings in this way, too). Our society is very, very entranced with the power of the mind, and we tend to discount feelings in favor of ‘logic.’ However, feelings teach us very important lessons and provide us with a lot of information as well. Therefore, if you truly want to develop your clairvoyant skills, pay close attention to how you feel and begin to listen to and follow your feelings.

Next, your instincts are important as well. You may find yourself, for example, having an instinct to react a certain way in a situation, or to perhaps feel scared or feel badly about something when there’s no apparent reason to do so. Usually, we may discount this and say that it’s not important, but just try it once. Follow your instincts and do exactly what your feelings tell you to do. You’ll likely find that your instinct is right and you kept yourself out of danger or otherwise thwarted an uncomfortable situation. As you do this, you’ll become much more confident in your feelings and thoughts, and how they relate to or interact with each other. This is an important component to developing clairvoyant skills, but it’s also important to you yourself becoming more balanced and happier as a person.

Especially when you’re just starting to train yourself to become clairvoyant, learning to tap into and communicate with your subconscious mind is also going to be important. If you don’t think you can do this on your own, you could visit a successful hypnotist. Alternatively, you could listen to recordings of hypnotists that are specifically produced to help you undergo self-hypnosis. As you do this, you’ll see that you become more focused and relaxed.

Finally, you’re going to learn to simply ‘let go,’ as you’re going to become more relaxed in your body into your mind at the same time. You’ll begin to trust, depends, and lean on your thoughts and feelings, so that you honor them for their wisdom and what they can tell you. It’s going to take time to develop clairvoyant skills fully, but you can do this as long as you practice and as long as you start to learn to act on these feelings and intuitions. The more you allow yourself to receive your intuition and instincts, the more you’ll become clairvoyant. And this will lead you to a better, more ‘in tune’ life in general, which means your feelings will come as a positive flow. As this happens, you’ll be able to access information by ‘seeing, hearing, and sensing’ — even if you don’t do so with your five senses.

Maintaining Mental Health With Yoga

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

Negative mental health has an impact on all our lives, it increases anxiety levels, maximizes our fears, leaves us more open to pain and makes us feel inferior. All negative emotions take root from the matter present in the subconscious; we do not have a negative attitude in our consciousness according to the principals of yoga.

We are all attached to physical things, people, certain emotions, concepts, and because of these attachments we desire certain outcomes or have a certain level of expectations. We experience conflict because we cannot reconcile what we think what we want and what our subconscious mind want. The aims of the psycho dynamic, psychological mental health and yoga are not very different they want to reconcile with desires and fears of the psyche with our conscious mind. Only through synchronization of the two minds can we begin to find an inner peace.

Our brain cannot cope well with turmoil, our ego becomes confused by conflict and lifes constant frustrations and because the conscious mind cannot cope, it shoves all the painful parts of our personality into our subconscious. There it does not have to deal with them it is hidden from us and it is a type of defense mechanism, it stops us shutting down altogether. Unfortunately these repressed desires, hopes, conflicts etc are not removed or dealt with they can still cause havoc in our lives.

Every action has a momentum according to yoga principals, once a momentum is finished a seed of that momentum to memory is deposited in the subconscious, in yoga they are Samskaras and they are known as archetypes in psychology. Because the mind does not want to dwell on all the things that have gone wrong, the disappointments the failures it buries them in the subconscious which is a swirling mass of dark negative thoughts.

According to the Freudian school of psychology, these fears come out in our dreams and we need a trained psychoanalyst to interpret our dreams so that we can reconcile the psyche and become mentally whole. Yoga has what is referred to as ‘antar mouna’ or inner silence which helps in releasing the repressed negative thoughts through meditation. In yoga, you can act as your own healer, you have to be fully conscious to reconcile the differences. This is different from Freud who believed that no individual person not trained as a psychoanalyst could heal themselves.

According to Swami Satyananda, when a certain thought comes into your mind, you do not have to take that thought up; you can be a silent witness to it. If you involve yourself with that thought, then once again it stirs up desires and conflicts. But you can choose to ignore the thought. You are taught to be aware of your unconscious mind when you are conscious by focusing in on it in meditation. Your psyche is the basis of all your dreams, your hopes and your deepest most repressed desires, by becoming in tune with it and recognizing what it wants you can achieve a sense of inner tranquility that will have a profound effect on your life because you have detached yourself from the ego, you can observe it dispassionately without getting embroiled in the conflict.

Yoga has the power in helping to prevent and cure. First of all, it restricts the amount of thoughts that get repressed into our subconscious. Because the ego is detached, it cannot feel insecure, and the mind has less need to repress guilt and negative emotions, because they have not arisen in the first place. As there is not a constant trickle of negative thoughts down to the subconscious you do not have to deal with them. You can examine your ego without the attachments that normally occur. You can let them go and as the old thoughts that have held you back are rejected the mind becomes a blank canvas that can foster positive thoughts.

Developing Your Clairvoyant Powers

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

It’s really no surprise that clairvoyant powers have been shrouded in a great deal of mystery. Individuals that are clairvoyant possess a unique gift that often scares and confuses people that don’t possess paranormal capabilities. Why do people feel this way? It’s because people with clairvoyant powers have knowledge of the unknown and those that without this ability resent the clairvoyant’s ability to see the present, past, and future.

Specifically, clairvoyant powers refer to the ability to see beyond what can be perceived by the five basic senses. This extrasensory perception gives a clairvoyant person second sight, the ability to see people, events and objects that are beyond the happenings of the natural world, giving them the ability to know what will happen before it happens. Those who have truly harnessed their powers can even look backwards, this is known as retrocognition.

Clairvoyance has always been a part of human history. Today well-known psychics give clairvoyant readings in order to help individuals find the answers to problems in their life, determine the best career path, and even find their true love. Thankfully, there is no longer a need to be jealous or fearful of those who possess clairvoyant powers. Everyone is born with the ability to become clairvoyant if they are willing to tap into the source of their powers.

If you are ready to begin you will need to clear you psyche in order to prepare yourself to become clairvoyant. The best way to do this is with meditation. People with clairvoyant powers seem to release a lot of negative energies, feelings and thoughts that keep them separate from others. These thoughts and feelings will clog the internal sensors and keep you from seeing the truth.

By meditating regularly you can learn to sense and feel your inner strength and claim your true potential. Reject the negatives and embrace what’s positive. Once you learn how to meditate and let go of your stress, you will begin to feel more creative and happy.

You should meditate each and every day for no less than thirty minutes. It is critical to choose a place that is quiet with absolutely no distractions. Make sure that a place is chosen that has no negative energy. Some people will meditate outdoors so that the universe and nature will help them release any negative energies and open up to their potential.

Pay attention to your feelings as you meditate and use deep breathing to release those negative energies. This will make you more aware of natural vibrations and changes that happen in the world a skill that allows those with clairvoyant powers to see and sometimes feel events before they happen.

You should also try to think like a child. It is a little known fact that all children are clairvoyant before logic and age tell them that such ideas do not exist. Learn to free your mind to pursue thoughts and ideas that you have always shut off before. Release your inhibitions and let all fear go, allow yourself to connect with the universe around you and realize that everything and everyone is connected.

In order to harness your more powerful energy and use it to further develop your clairvoyant powers, buy a deck of tarot cards. Both tarot cards and palmistry require the person receiving a reading to physically participate resulting in a more accurate reading and allowing you to better interpret the symbols that are appearing to you.

Start making use of your newly found powers by doing free clairvoyant readings. You will be able to see the auras that surround people as you continue your meditations. Making you more intone with will happen in their lives and making you see deeper, enhancing your ability to perceive not only the present and future but also the past, the most difficult of clairvoyant powers to harness.

One area of clairvoyance that is not talked about often is the ability to talk with the dead. If you want to develop this ability you will have to get over any fear you may have of interacting with or seeing ghosts. While it might seem odd or scary to interact with a dead being, remember there is no risk of injury or harm. Your clairvoyant abilities have progressed to the point of you being able to hear and see those that are closed off from people with undeveloped senses.

As you will see in your journey, clairvoyance is a natural talent that everyone can have who strives to develop it. Dig deep within your internal system and learn to change your life and others by developing clairvoyant powers.

Yoga And Dealing With Pain

Yoga for Pain Management

Living in pain that is chronic and virtually permanent is one of the most incapacitating of lifes experiences, as it saps your energy and depletes your strengths as well as making you mentally drained. Often those that practice yoga regularly discover that they can reduce their pain medication. Yoga has three distinct disciplines and these are breathing, relaxation, and meditation. As humans we fear pain, because we are afraid of what we feel pain will reduce us to, to overcome that fear overcomes a level of the pain. It is our mind and brains that converts the stimulus to cause pain into pain.

Drugs are normally used to control pain, some literally dull the brain, whilst other inhibit the prostaglandins which are the chemicals generated by the stimulus, and once inhibited they cannot reach the brain to be translated into pain. Unfortunately, taking the pharmacological approach to pain means that the body is suppressed from using its own natural painkillers and the effects of drugs are temporary and are not always without side effects.

Yoga relieves pain by helping the body to use its natural pain killers, the mechanism for which is in the spinal cord. Once this happen, you can move through pain, rather than resisting it. Once you resist pain it exerts the most pain but yoga allows you to be distracted as it were from the pain, because the tension in your body is reduced. This process is also assisted by the breathing exercise that accompanies the yoga.

Breathing control also controls pain because as we exhale the muscles relax, try breathing in and breathing out and testing that theory now. As you exhale all your muscles relax and if you can be encouraged to breath out more slowly your tension is relaxed for longer. However to be in control of your breathing you have to be aware of it. When the lungs are full the tension is the muscles is on hold, so by controlling your breathing to a breathing in, a holding of breath and a breathing out the body is relaxed for two thirds of the time .

When muscles are tense we feel more pain, but when we consciously relax the body, this helps in lessening the pain. We can also relax the mind with rhythmic breathing and meditation. Regular practice of meditation builds a core of inner strength that helps us to relax and fight pain. Try to meditate for five minutes once you start and build up to twenty minutes night and morning.

How to Grow 2-Inches Taller in 2-Minutes

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

I’m really not exaggerating. You can appear 2-inches taller in just 2-minutes.

This is how I’m going to prove it to you. First things first. Go stand in front of a mirror. What do you see? Well, the first thing that you’ll notice is that if you’re like 99% of America, your head is jutting forward from spending your life in a box.

Modern have dictates that you will spend most of you time sitting. Unlike our ancestors who spent most of their time doing physical labor, we spend most of our time on our rears. In our cars. At the office. All day long we’re sitting.

What this does is it causes muscle imbalances to occur. When you sit for most of the day the muscles on the front of your body become tight. Just think about this for a second. Imagine you could look down at yourself right now as you read this. Youre probably in sort of a half-fetal position.

Now, back to your mirror exercise. When you look in the mirror sideways you probably noticed that your torso curves forward slightly, as do your shoulders.

All of this sitting around makes people appear as if they have shrunk. I was talking with a client of mine some time ago and he mentioned that after visiting his doctor he was told that he was an inch shorter than he was 10-years ago. Why is this? Well, his posture deteriorated. He didn’t shrink.

How can you appear taller in just 2-minutes? Simple. Just think “S.B.D.”

No, that doesnt stand for the Small Business Development-Center. SBD stands for shoulders- back-down. I want you to keep your shoulder blades pushed back toward each other and down toward your back pockets. Do this all the time. Youll notice that when you do this that your chest pops up. Also, when you SBD your head will pull back over your shoulders.

This is not about making you just appear taller. When you repeat the mantra, “shoulders, back and down” you will be more confident, energized and in all actuality, if you measure yourself before and after – you will be taller! That’s all that there is to it! Congratulations!
